IBS Irritable Bowl Syndrome or malfunction of digestive tract
Reasons for IBS
1. Stress
2. Fast food
3. Infections of digestive tract
4. Poor digestive organs (lack of good bacteria)
Recommend
High fiber diets – Raw carrots, raw vegetables, and eight glasses of water daily. Live yogurt, sauerkraut get digestive enzymes stay away from dairy as it triggers IBS as does refined sugar (white) – or sweeteners with fructose, flour, red meat, chocolate, caffeine, spicy food and your favorite tobacco all irritate stomach lining.
Supplements
Milk thistle 250mg daily – IBS puts stress on liver. Take the milk thistle with 80-85% silymarin content with each meal.
Slippery Elm- 1000mg 3 times daily – soothes the bowls.
Vinegar – Before each meal – Supports stomach acid
Digestive Enzymes – 1 capsule before each meal
Lactobacillus acidophilus and bifus – comes in liquid and is a enzyme and prevents harmful microbes and candida (yeast)
Enteric-coated peppermint oil capsules between meals 1 to 2 this herb reduces cramping and gas. Make sure the capsules are enteric-coated zinc 50mg daily.
