Benefits of Fiber:

Fiber increases bowl movements which affords the body the opportunity to rid itself of cholesterol and toxins. Plus, it reduces constipation, prevents hemorrhoids, colon cancer, and appendicitis. It is also beneficial for people with diverticulitis or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Other benefits include weight loss, heart disease, and offer some hope in controlling Type 2 Diabetes.
