Clogged arteries are the result of the modern diet and way of life.

2. Eats lots of antioxidants – fruit, green tea, vitamin C, and lots of raw vegetables.
3. Inflammation of blood vessel walls can be checked with a C – reactive protein test. Normal range is 32 mg/dl. This test is a predictor of heart disease.
4. Homocysteine level – normal is 10 micro mol/l. This indicates a build up if this toxic metabolite increases plague formation in the artery walls.
5. Iron – too much causes oxidation of free radicals. Normal level is 150 mg/dl.
6. Garlic and onion reduces bad cholesterol and lower blood pressure as does 4 sticks of celery daily.
7. Purple grapes clear plaque from artery walls. Also found in purple grape juice.
8. Potassium (bananas) and magnesium (vegetables) – are heart protective minerals.
9. Avoid white salt and white sugar, which carries high C – reactive protein and reduces good cholesterol levels.
10. Ginkgo Biloba improves blood flow and thins the blood. Get it with 24% Ginkgo Flavone Glycoside – 120 mg 2x daily.
11. L-carnitine – 1000 mg daily lowers triglycerides and improves heart contractions.
